Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BoldoSync ("the App"), a macOS application developed and operated by Boldo ("we", "us", "our"). By using BoldoSync, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

BoldoSync is a desktop application for macOS that automates the archiving of local files to Google Drive. The App scans configured folders, uploads files, verifies their integrity, and optionally removes local copies to free disk space.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use BoldoSync. By using the App, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Google Account

BoldoSync requires a Google account with Google Drive access. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials. The App uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication and does not store your Google password.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use BoldoSync only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

• Use the App to upload illegal, infringing, or unauthorized content to Google Drive
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the App
• Use the App in any manner that could impair or overburden Google Drive services
• Use the App to circumvent any storage limitations or policies of Google Drive

5. File Deletion

BoldoSync may delete local files after they have been uploaded to Google Drive and verified. By enabling this feature, you acknowledge and accept the risk that local files will be permanently removed from your computer. While the App performs integrity verification before deletion, we recommend maintaining separate backups of critical files.

6. No Warranty

BoldoSync is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of file transfers

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boldo and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or files
• Loss of business or revenue
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your files
• Damages resulting from errors in file upload, verification, or deletion

Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of BoldoSync shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if applicable).

8. Third-Party Services

BoldoSync relies on Google Drive and the Google Drive API. Your use of Google Drive is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the availability, reliability, or policies of Google's services.

9. Intellectual Property

BoldoSync, including its design, code, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Boldo. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.

10. Termination

You may stop using BoldoSync at any time by uninstalling the App. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at our discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
